The Miami-Dade County Public Schools Board of Education makes decisions on everything that happens in Miami's schools. This 9-member elected board votes on everything from curriculum to facilities. In Miami, School Board meetings often last over 9 hours and occur during business hours. Due to this, many parents and teachers in our community are not able to attend. In order to make these conversations more accessible to people impacted by these decisions, we summarize each monthly meeting. To receive these updates, sign-up here.
